“Let’s Rock This Stout!  An Evening with Comedy Magician Robert Strong”

McDonald’s
McDonald’s called and asked me to create a 10 minute custom show for all of their franchise owners. They wanted me to educate and motivate them to use a specific software that increases profitability when used by their managers everyday. So, I designed and built a very visual illusion that would allow me to “magically” turn their software into $10,000 of cash before their very eyes! It was well-received by all, and I have since been invited back to perform for McDonald’s again and again.

Toys ‘R’ Us
Toys ‘R’ Us had a particularly good year, and they wanted a spectacular illusion. So, during their sales meeting in Maryland, we set up a video conference call with their keynote speaker who was “out of the country.” The speaker said, “I wish I had magical powers so I could be at the meeting.” The leader of the meeting turned to me and said, “We have a magician here… Is there anything you can do?” With a flick of my wrist and the snap of my fingers, I made him appear magically in a box that was previously shown empty! The audience was shocked and amazed and jumped to their feet in a standing ovation. It was a meeting they’d never forget.

US Army
I was hired by the US Army to come and entertain over 5,000 troops returning from Iraq. The service men and women were having trouble re-adjusting to civilian life at home in the States. The rates of injury and mortality were flagging the need for attention. The Army asked me to create a fun and motivating show for the soldiers that would raise awareness about the importance of obeying the law, driving responsibly, remaining peaceful, and making healthy choices with alcohol and sexuality. So, I created an inspiring presentation called “Safety First” that focused on the benefits of not engaging in high-risk activity. The officers who commissioned the six presentations were so pleased that they awarded me two civilian medallions of distinction.
